GBS was established in 1995 by Willie Theron Snr from his passion for vehicles and is currently owned by Willie Theron Jnr. GBS strive to outperform all competitors not only on price, but on quality and after sales service.
GBS started on all types of transmission repairs ranging from Manual, Automatic, Semi Automatic and CVT's for all makes of vehicle, Trucks and earth moving equipment.

Although they feel almost exactly like standard automatic gearboxes, direct shift gearboxes use a pair of clutches, rather than a single unit. They still rely on the familiar lever or paddle behind the steering wheel, just like any automatic transmission.
